This past weekend, the Motorworks crew had a blast attending this year’s Brewer’s Ball in Tampa, Florida. We are beyond honored to have received three medals for our beers in the 2023 Best Florida Beer Championship.
Our Mango Habanero IPA took home the Gold Medal in the Chili Beer category for the second year in a row! In the same category, we also won the Silver Medal for our Tequila Barrel-Aged Datil Imperial Chocolate Porter with Datil chili peppers. The Gold Medal in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer category went to our Pedro Ximenez Sherry Barrel-Aged Belgian Quad.
We are so proud of our amazing brewing staff for their hard work on these award-winning beers. We’re already looking forward to next year!
About Brewer’s Ball:
Brewer’s Ball is a celebration of brewing with the intent of gathering homebrewers and professional brewers together from across the state for the presentation of the Best Florida Beer Championships’ Best of Show winners. The Ball features food, music, samples of the Gold Medal, and Category winning beers from the Championships’ commercial competition and a raffle.
About Best Florida Beer:
The Best Florida Beer Professional Championship is an AHA and BJCP-sanctioned professional beer, mead, and cider competition sponsored by Best Florida Beer. This is the most prestigious professional beer competition in the state of Florida.
