Motorworks Brewing Named Finalist in Bright House Networks Third Annual Tampa Bay Regional Business Awards
Winning Businesses to Be Honored at February 11 Recognition Event
(January,25th 2016) – Motorworks Brewing announced today that it has been named a finalist in Bright House Networks third annual Regional Business Awards of the Tampa Bay area. Motorworks Brewing was named a finalist in the Start up category for the awards, which honor the companies, organizations and people who have impacted the Tampa Bay area with their products, services, and thought leadership. The Pitch 6 competition will take place @ Straz Center – Jaeb Theater from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016. Winning businesses will be honored at a special celebration on February 11, 2016 at the Tampa Convention Center.
Motorworks Brewing, Bradenton’s first craft beer brewery, was co-founded by Frank and Denise
Tschida. As soon as they laid their eyes on the Bradenton property, they knew they had found
something special. Home to a Hudson Motors dealership – renowned for outstanding
performance and innovative styling – in the late 40s and early 50s, the building’s automotive
history along with Frank’s Sprint Car/ASA background inspired the Motorworks Brewing name. The Motorworks Brewing team strives to bring their imaginative and innovative approach to brewing craft beer to honor their building’s storied past.
Bright House Networks has teamed up with Chambers of Commerce in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Manatee and Sarasota counties to host this event connecting local businesses in a celebration of best-in-class. Bright House Networks will award prizes totaling over $1,000,000, including commercial TV production, air time, customer newsletter, and cash.

The taproom opens at 11AM every day of the year and closes at midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and at 2AM on Friday and Saturday.
