Motorworks Brewing bottled its first mixed culture ale today in preparation for a limited taproom release.
La Couronne Sauvage, inspired by Belgian brewing traditions, is an American Wild Ale brewed with our mixed culture of yeast and souring bacteria and aged in oak for six months. It’s deliciously tart with a dry, clean finish and we’re all extremely proud of this beer. It’s something Bob and the team have wanted to brew for a long time and we’re happy to have a long bottling day under our belts.
We’ll post more details about the release in the coming weeks. Roughly 400 bottles of La Couronne Sauvage were packaged on July 12th, 2018 in corked & capped 750ml bottles.
