Our first mixed culture release and a preview of things to come from our burgeoning wild program. La Couronne Sauvage (“The Wild Crown”) was inspired by centuries-old Belgian lambic brewing traditions. Aged in oak barrels for six months, a mixed culture of yeast & souring bacteria infuses this straw-gold American Wild Ale with a lactic acidity that finishes clean, while nuanced aromas & flavors reminiscent of tart nectarine, tangerine and pear weave serpentine through subtle undercurrents of funk.
